Frequently asked questions

How do I learn the rules?

Open Learn in the app: nine short interactive lessons teach every rule on the board. The complete rules are also in the in-app rulebook.

Do I need an account or an internet connection?

No. Playing against the AI, with a friend on the same device and the tutorial work offline and without an account. Online rooms and ranked matches need a connection and a guest or registered account.

How do I invite a friend?

Choose Play with friends, create a room and share the six-character code or the invitation link. Your friend enters the code (or opens the link) and the game starts.

Online play does not connect.

Check your internet connection and try again in a minute. If it keeps failing, write to us and tell us what you see.

I forgot my password.

We do not collect e-mail addresses, so a password cannot be recovered. You can create a new account. To avoid this, change your password to one you will remember while you are signed in.

How do I change my display name?

Open Profile in the app and edit your name.

How do I report a player?

Write to support@playparallax.app with the player’s display name, the date and time of the match and what happened.

How do I delete my account or my data?

See Delete your account. Local data on your device is removed with Settings → Delete local data or by uninstalling the app.
